 Position Summary:

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Troubleshoot, isolate issues, and implement solutions to technology-related issues in a timely and professional way.
  • Communicate in-person and remotely, with oral and written communications skills that are clear and succinct with a warm customer focus.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with issue resolution.
  • Produce training and reference materials.
  • Educate employees one-on-one and in groups on varying technical topics.
  • Assist in the evaluation, purchase, repair, inventory, installation, and disposal of computing hardware and software.
  • Gain feedback from customers about their computing experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Associate's Degree; OR equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience installing and/or supporting Microsoft and Apple hardware and OS platforms. 

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: 

  • Demonstrated ability to research and troubleshoot computer problems independently using multiple resources.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office 2013 and newer.
  • Strong customer-service orientation; excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills to better interact with internal staff.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Must possess confidence, presence, passion for excellence, and enthusiasm for a challenge. 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Microsoft certification (especially relating to Windows desktop OS).
  • Experience using and supporting audio editing products such as Protools, Audacity, or Adobe Audition is useful.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Sales experience or other work experience which includes customer relationship building.
  • Experience in a broadcasting or media environment.

Must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

    • Must be able to participate in monthly on-call rotation, with adequate 24-hour transportation while on-call
    • Required to move about in an office environment and sit for extended periods of time
    • Required to walk, sit, and stand; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
    • Frequent use of hands for data entry/keystrokes and simple grasping
    • Required to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Working Conditions:
    • Moderate noise level
    • Occasional exposure to prevalent weather conditions
