Position Summary:

The On Demand Temporary Associate Producer II or Producer I will work on Marketplace's podcast This Is Uncomfortable, a narrative/storytelling show that explores "life and how money messes with it". The show launched in June 2019 and this role would play an important part in shaping the show's voice in upcoming episodes. The position runs until June 2020.

We're looking for a creative producer who can pitch and execute great stories for our show, and has excellent production chops; is a fierce booker, audio editor, and researcher; is well organized and detail-oriented; and is able to thrive working in a small, collaborative team-environment, sometimes on multiple projects.

We're an ambitious shop, fueled by ambitious ideas. Good ideas are the currency of Marketplace. This is a place of creativity and unorthodox thinking.
